30% Productivity Gain – Nuit Nuit 💤

For over 20 years, I wore it like a badge of honor. I could function well on less than 5 hours of sleep. I was always on the go, waking at 4 a.m. for 12-mile runs, juggling packed schedules, and operating with a relentless drive. My kids were academic weapons, and I was the one designed for productivity.

Fortunately, I began to notice the decline of my mental, spiritual, and physical health.

I realized I was overcompensating during the day because I was neglecting the 30% of life that fuels the other 70%. I masked exhaustion with espresso shots, energy drinks, sugar, and workouts, unaware that I was slowly burning out.

Rest isn’t a reward. It’s a requirement.

We prepare for work, but do we prepare for sleep?

✅ Cut caffeine early

✅ Address misunderstandings

✅ Forgive someone

✅ Eat before sunset

✅ Set an agenda for dreams worth nurturing

🤔 Take a moment to ask yourself why you work. Is it to provide for your family, serve a purpose, and enjoy a long, quality life?

If that’s true, then shouldn’t you sleep for the same reasons?

The less we sleep now, the higher the probability our eternal sleep comes sooner.

💛 We work to invest in wealth. We sleep to invest in health. Both can increase or decrease exponentially. The direction of change is up to us.

Imagine performing intense leg workouts every single day. Eventually, you wouldn't be able to walk. The same thing happens to the mind and spirit when rest is ignored.

Sleep is sacred. It’s where your subconscious rewires, your body heals, your spirit whispers new revelations, and your purpose quietly strengthens. So don’t treat it as downtime. Treat it as divine productivity time. 🌟

Before your head hits the pillow:

❤️ Resolve conflict and forgive.

🕊️ Say a prayer or send love with a thought.

🪞 Affirm your vision.

This past week, I finally acted on goals I had postponed for months: attending a local chamber of commerce event, joining a marketing roundtable, and appearing on a podcast. What changed? I slept more. I gave myself permission to rest, which gave me the energy to act. 🚀

Rest. Be gentle with yourself. Trust that when the time is right, you will act.

✨ Tonight, prepare for sleep like it's your most important work meeting. Breathe in silence and let your dreams do their job.

Sleep isn’t just where you end your day. It’s where your next one begins. Your most important work begins the moment you close your eyes. 😴

Rest well and prosper. 🖖🏽🤓

I'm looking forward to speaking to you again for GTM (Golden Trifecta™ Monday) in seven more sleeps! 💤
