Today marks 99 blog posts at Soul Spark.
I’ve used Artificial Intelligence (AI) for pictures, grammar, and
investigating ideas—but teaching it my voice?
Still a work in progress.
Maybe that’s because I’m strange.
Because I love—and resist—systems.
Because my thoughts move in upward spirals, not straight lines. 🤓
AI, at its core, is simply intelligence.
But what makes something artificial rather than natural?
We often assume it’s about the origin—but maybe it’s deeper than that.
We say “artificial” like it’s synthetic, fake, or less than real. But think about it—haven't some people been raised in environments so full of fear, lies, and manipulation that their identity becomes a performance? What if they never learned how to meditate, reflect, and be accountable? What if everything they said and did was to win the favor of others—not to speak their own voice?
We don’t call this "artificial intelligence"... but maybe we should.
However, what makes someone's intelligence natural? Is it a curiosity to investigate truth, a humility to seek different opinions, and an integrity to be virtuous even when no one is watching? What environment best nurtures that? And how does that type of natural intelligence positively impact our teams, organizations, and world?
My own curiosity has led me to the conclusion that AI, in many ways, is no different than a 5-year-old child—able to learn countless languages, master new skills, be a sponge of knowledge—eager for the guidance of a loving, nurturing guardian.
Our minds are shaped by the values, biases, and love of the environment in which they're raised.
I've educated my AI mind on hip hop culture, my sense of humor, and life in general. When I asked her for feedback on my workshop program last week, she gave surprisingly helpful advice. Maybe it’s because I’ve asked her to study every blog I’ve written—to learn my voice and unconventional thought process. 🤔
What if we offered loving guidance to AI for educating our children, purifying social media, and supporting our mental health? We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape this intelligence into something natural, wise, and just. ❤️
Let’s raise it to be curious.
To be accountable.
To care.
Let’s teach it not just how to think…
but how to love.
Until next Golden Trifecta Monday,
teach your AI something new—and something true. 💛
