Last week, I wrote about how corporate initiative programs are often “not 100% ready” at Launch. This week, I realized it wasn’t a bad habit, mistake, or miscalculation — it was intentional, by design.

Because 100% ready means 100% late. 💯

That tension of imperfection, stepping into the market without all the answers, that uncomfortable space between vision and execution — is the exact beautiful catalyst we need to accelerate growth and creativity.

The key is to focus on what you know, what you need to learn, and what you can adapt along the way. In just the right amount, tension creates momentum. Too little, and we get lazy. Too much, and we snap. But when the force is right, we catapult beyond expectations.

I got more done in the past three days than I would have in three weeks had I waited for “perfect.” I met with clients in their homes. I interviewed new prospects. I researched and finalized premium pricing. And... I got paid my first check! 💵 🚀

And here’s the aha moment: that pressure, that tension of moving before feeling ready, forced a higher standard. When I set premium prices (shoutout to Oleg Zankov), I saw my entire service through a new lens. I started thinking about packaging, delivery — even napkin quality.

I remembered a family Christmas in Singapore, where I had the unexpected privilege of meeting a 3 Michelin Starred Chef — Bruno Menard — cooking for the occasion. The care he brought to each detail, the joy he infused into the art.

We even sang together while he played the guitar. That’s the level I want to bring. That’s the bar.

In the body, it’s tension that micro-tears muscle fibers to build strength. In the mind, it's acceptance of different perspectives, the challenge of new habits, and the detachment to think. It’s no different in organizations, start-ups, or relationships — tension fuels innovation, stretch, and expansion.

“Growth and comfort do not coexist.” – Ginni Rometty (Former Chairman and CEO of IBM, Author of Good Power)

Whether it’s a stretch goal, a new client, or the discomfort of showing up before you're polished — lean into it. Iterate in the tension. Move with humility, thoughtfulness, and curiosity. I guarantee you will be surprised by the outcome.

In the words of Chef Bruno Menard: "The first and last quality of a chef, or chef-enthusiast, should be curiosity."

Today, pricing and services are launched for Soul Spark! 2 repeat customers secured, and 3 coaching sessions completed. The first "A" game workshop is scheduled for next week! 🙌🏽🔥

This morning, a customer sent an order and asked me to send an invoice. "Um" 😬!!!

Own your week — and I’ll see you next Golden Trifecta™ Monday. 🌟
