Drop a Peace Sign 🏍️

Today, during a coastal bike ride, I reflected on how nearly every motorcyclist I pass greets me. A peace sign. A simple nod. A wave of recognition.
No names. No small talk. Just an encouraging gesture to say "I see you." 💛
We are out there enjoying the freedom of the ride, yet we are exposed. Navigating a world built for drivers who often don’t see us. We are constantly scanning and preparing for anything that can happen.
During the day, most riders wear tinted visors and protective gear. There is no way to know race, religion, political stance, or background. Still, we show each other respect. Still, we offer support.
Isn’t that how life could be?
So many of us live a life striving every day to be better partners, parents, friends, and professionals. We’re all navigating uncertain roads, watching for danger, and hoping to arrive safely at whatever version of success or peace we’ve defined for ourselves.
So why seek division?
If strangers on bikes can exchange love and encouragement without needing to “know” each other, can’t we all?
We’re spiritual beings having a human experience, riding through life with limited vision. But every soul emits an energy, a frequency, a light that transcends language and identity, connecting us all.
Next time you cross paths with someone, whether it be on the street, in the grocery line, or online, consider offering that same small positive gesture.
A smile. A nod. A metaphorical peace sign that says:
“I see you. You're safe. I’m rooting for you.”
Because we’re not as different as we pretend to be.
And we’re never as alone as we feel. 😎
