"Congratulations, Well Done?"

One of my favorite 2025 moments thus far is the Michael Pierce interception for the Baltimore Ravens. Whether you like football or not, I guarantee you will smile at this video. I think his teammates were more excited and happy for him than he was for himself! At work, when one of your teammates gets a promotion, makes a breakthrough discovery, or rocks a presentation are you more happy for them than they are for themselves?

Or... do you secretly envy and discredit their capabilities because you felt you were more worthy? Do you force a smile and congratulate even though both you and them know it is disingenuous? I have been on both sides of these feelings and the right way is to know there is always an opportunity to better yourself and a wisdom to know it is not your time. If there was injustice, the truth will always surface, usually not when you expect. Besides, when you finally get that promotion and/or recognition, how would you want your friends and colleagues to behave towards you?

Rejoice when someone else excels and achieves success because ultimately we are all connected and there is unlimited abundance in life!

I am still smiling about my friend Michael Pierce, who one day I will meet! :-)
